Hero System Miniscrews TAD's Distraction

The Hero-System is a fixed appliance system, using selfligating brackets and memory wires, for efficient tooth movements and dental corrections. The Hero-System White has been used to improve the aesthetics of fixed appliance treatment. As anchorage during fixed appliance therapy can be a problem (resulting in extractions, headgears, difficult orthodontic mechanics), skeletal anchorage is used in cases which require extra anchorage. By using TAD’s (Temporal Anchorage Devices) extractions, surgical corrections and cooperation problems can be reduced. If surgery is indicated, the patient and the orthodontist should be able to monitor the changes which occur during surgical correction. If intra-oral distraction is used for mandibular lengthening, maxillary widening or other jaw corrections which can be indicated, monitoring of the facial changes is possible. The Hero-System encourages integral treatment.
