dr Hero Breuning

Dr Breuning DDS PhD ,studied dentistry in Utrecht the Netherlands and followed an additional university training of four years to be registered as an Orthodontist. In 2004 he published his thesis on on mandibular distraction during orthodontic treatment. He received the Hamer-Duyvensz. award for the best Dutch Dental Thesis in 2005.     Dr Breuning is a member of the Dutch Orthodontic Society (VvO),

the World Federation of orthodontists (WFO) and the American Association of Orthodontists (AAO). Currently he is staff member with special interest in 3D Imaging at the Radboud University in Nijmegen.Hero is reviewer of the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopaedics (AJODO)  for Diagnosis and Treatment planning. He presented lectures, workshops and courses and published extensively on selfligating bracket systems, distraction, miniscrews and other topics such as recent developments in orthodontic treatment.

He works in a Private Practice in Tiel, the Netherlands.
